The program has an easy to understand main screen containing
vertical columns and
horizontal rows,
similar to the old fashioned
sign-in sheet.
Each signature entry, and its associated information is displayed in a
separate row.
The first three or four columns contain the daily entry number, the date
and time automatically
entered by the program,
and the entries from the
signature pad.
Once entered, these are not editable.
The remaining
columns contain information input by the operator, and can include any
assortment
of information as
determined by the operator. Obviously these entries are editable.
All column headings, widths and other cosmetic properties of the program
are user programmable.
Input into these columns can be made from the keyboard or barcode
scanner.
Two report printout formats are provided.
The wording on the signature
pad is also programmable by the operator.
With our V5.1 Version your facility
has the ability to sign a person in as well as sign them out.

The
Sign-In Viewer (excluding Lite Version) has a display identical to the main program,
and also allows operator
input and or editing in the same cells as does the main program.
Individual settings such as the header names, widths, and all the
cosmetic settings are
independently programmable in the viewer.
The entire database or any portion of it can be viewed.
The real power of
the viewer is its ability to search the entire database, or selected
portions
of it using the entry’s date or
any one of the operator
programmable
columns
as the main search key.
Various sorting formats are also
provided. The search facilitates the use of wildcards,
allowing a search
for a portion of any entry.
The ability to print the results is provided.
T
Sign-In
Archiver (excluding Lite Version) The entry of many
signatures over a period
of time can cause the database to become quite
large,
and it may be desirable to archive a portion of it.
The Sign-In Archiver allows any portion of the database from its first
entry up to
a date selected by the operator, to be archived.
The archived portion is thus removed from the main database and saved as
a separate,
archived database.
The archived database is viewable in the Sign-In viewer where all of its
searching features
are available.
Provisions to
back-up the database and archives are built in, and allow saving to a
remote
or removable device.
All signatures are stored in an encoded format, and are only readable in
the Sign-In programs.
The main database and archives are also protected so that they cannot
be accessed or
viewed outside of the Sign-In programs.
